Admissions

Students aged four years and above can apply for enrolment at Buds International School Phuket. Placement is subject to availability and up to the discretion of the Heads of School. Buds has a total capacity of 200 students. Buds accepts 18 students per Primary class.

Your child will be placed in a class that is age appropriate according to the chart shown below. Once a student has been placed in a specific year group or class the child will not be moved unless under very specific circumstances

For a child to be moved up a year, he/she must be working at a level that is two years above his/her actual age in all subjects. The child’s maturity level must be taken into account before making such an important decision. The final decision rests with the Head of School.

Application Form: A parent/career should complete a school application form. Forms can be downloaded here or a hard-copy obtained from the school office.

Entrance Examination: Students from Grade 3 to 6 are required to sit an entrance examination. Entrance examinations are conducted by appointment only. The entrance examination fee is 2,000 baht per student enrolling.

Interview with Head of Primary School: Interviews with prospective students will be conducted by the Head of Primary, as appropriate. An appointment for the interview will be arranged by a member of the school office personnel in consultation with parents/careers.
