Buds Phuket Kindergarten, Pre School and Nursery is the oldest established child care facility in Phuket. This boutique school in Chalong, Phuket is now located in a brand new facility designed specifically to care for and teach your children. We cater to children between the ages of 18 months and 8 years and we are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Extra English and Thai classes from 3:00 to 4:00 pm and aftercare to 5 pm is also available.

Emphasis is placed on teaching your children how to get along and communicate with children of their own age from different cultural backgrounds; as well as to teach your child to communicate with the adults on the staff. The playing of games in a group, sing-a-longs, the sharing of toys, and other activities are all designed to help develop your child's social skills. At the same time of course we try very hard to make your child's stay at Buds Phuket a happy fulfilling experience. Children having fun learn without realizing they are being taught.

We are conveniently located on the main road from Chalong circle to Phuket Town just 1.2 kilometers North of the Chalong circle. Coming from Chalong we will be on your right. Our new school is opposite and 100 meters past the Wine Connection. Transportation in new school busses with Western safety seats is available. We welcome all prospective parents to come visit us between 9:30 am and 2:00 pm and see the school in operation. We have a very low ratio of children to staff to children. This insures that your child is always supervised and encouraged.

Our classes are limited to 14 children per teacher again to maximize the child’s learning experience and to insure your children’s safety we maintain at least a 3.5 to 1 pupil to staff ratio. All of our staff truly love children and we all enjoy working with them, especially as we see the children learn, grow and develop into more accomplished individuals. All of our Thai teachers speak English and both they and the school are licensed by Phuket province. Our “Farang” teachers all are native English speakers and have college degrees.

We have just added a 3rd new school bus and have transportation available from the entire Central and Southern part of Phuket. We take the kids swimming twice a week to be trained by professional qualified teachers, for a small extra fee.
Please contact us for more information! We have now completed the 3rd and last Semester of 2012 and have now occupied our new school building for a year. We are very pleased with the building and the fact it allows us to do a better job in taking care of our students.

The highlights in December were of course the visit by Santa Claus with presents for all the children. A good time was had by all and our new building gave us the room to also invite the parents. We also had our Semester 3 field trip. The nursery and P-1 class visited the Phuket Zoo while the P-2, P-3 and P-4 class spend the day playing and picnicking at the Saphan Hin National Park.
